"Fire Safety Day." |

We had a great fire safety class at A.F.I.R.E. today (Tuesday, June 6th). Captain/Paramedic Paul Brozyna from the New Port Richey Fire Department was here along with Fire Fighter/Paramedic Bill Philippus, Fire Fighter Bauer, and Fire Fighter Larkin. What a great talk the Captain gave and patiently answered all the questions that our students had. Fire Fighter Philippus is a paramedic and demonstrated how to take blood pressure and showed some of the equipment that he uses. Our A.F.I.R.E. students had lots of good questions to ask and loved going outside to see the fire truck. Fire Fighter Bauer showed them all the equipment on the truck and explained what it is for. Fire Fighter Larkin dressed up in his fire fighting gear to demonstrate what they actually wear when they are fighting fires. THANK YOU GENTLEMEN FOR A GREAT PRESENTATION! Lin Brown |
