A.F.I.R.E. operates a day training program for developmentally disabled adults (over the age of 22), that meets five days a week to reinforce everyday living skills necessary to function more independently in their community.

In addition to academics, participants get training in life skills, social skills, and enjoy special social activities with their peers - such as bowling, trips, dances, camping and picnics.
